狂賀！國立東華大學獲2023 VIP Consortium Meeting頒發Scaling in the Humanities獎項
狂賀！經過多年的苦心經營，2023 VIP Consortium Meeting(5/9/23~5/12/23)將頒發Scaling in the Humanities獎給學校。獲獎原因是截至 2022 年秋季，東華VIP一半的團隊屬於人文或社會科學領域；他們與聖安德魯斯並列為有最大比例的HASS (Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences)團隊的學校。
垂直整合計劃(VIP) 是在通過讓大學部學生和研究生參與由教授領導的長期、大規模、跨領域項目團隊來改善高等教育。學生獲得學分，而教授和研究生則受益於團隊的設計/發明成果。全世界有近40個知名大學加入此聯盟，而此次獲獎單位只有區區7所，再次證明東華是一所領域各自發展完整的綜合性大學！
Congratulations! After years of hard work, the 2023 VIP Consortium Meeting (5/9/23~5/12/23) will present the Scaling in the Humanities award to the school. The reason for the award is that as of the fall of 2022, half of Donghua VIP's teams are in the humanities or social sciences; they are tied with St. Andrews as the school with the largest proportion of HASS (Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences) teams.
The Vertical Integration Program (VIP) is improving higher education by engaging undergraduate students and graduate students in long-term, large-scale, interdisciplinary project teams led by professors. Students earn credits, while professors and graduate students benefit from the team's design/invention efforts. Nearly 40 well-known universities from all over the world have joined this alliance, but this time there are only 7 award-winning units, which once again proves that Donghua is a comprehensive university with complete development in its own fields!
